Wind Damage Repair · MD + FL

Lifted Shingles Today Are A Leak Next Weekend.

Free wind inspection within 48 hours. Wind breaks the adhesive seal under shingles long before the shingle visibly fails. Once the seal is broken, the next rain is a leak risk. We document the damage so you can file with your carrier, and we restore your roof's waterproof layer.

Why It Matters

What Wind Does That You Can't See.

Modern architectural shingles are rated to 110-130 mph, but that rating assumes the adhesive strip is fully sealed.

Straight-line winds, microbursts, and hurricane bands break the seal at the shingle edge. The shingle looks fine but it's no longer waterproof. A single gust during the next storm is all it takes to pull it off entirely. Call (443) 826-3739 and we'll be on your roof within 48 hours to check the seal integrity.

Wind Damage Signs We Look For.

  • Shingles missing entirely, especially along ridges and eaves
  • Creased shingles. Horizontal crack across the shingle face
  • Lifted tabs that no longer lay flat (broken seal)
  • Debris on the roof from downed branches or neighboring yard impact
  • Displaced or damaged ridge caps
  • Damaged fascia, soffit, or siding from wind-driven debris
  • Fallen tree contact. Even minor branch impact compromises the field
Questions + Answers

Wind Damage Questions.

Every question homeowners ask before letting a contractor near their roof or their insurance policy. Don't see yours? Call us. We'll give you a straight answer in two minutes.

Still Have Questions?

Talk to a project manager, not a call-center. We follow up quickly.

My roof looks fine from the yard. Do I still need an inspection?

Yes if straight-line winds or a storm with 50+ mph gusts hit your area. Wind damage is almost always invisible from the ground. The only way to know is to get on the roof with a trained eye.

Does insurance cover wind damage?

Almost always. Wind is a named peril on nearly every homeowners policy. Hurricane deductibles apply in Florida and may be higher than standard wind deductibles. We help you understand your specific policy.

How long after a storm do I have to file?

Check your declarations page for the exact filing deadline. Florida caps new claims on post-2022 policies at 1 year, with 18 months for supplements. Maryland policy windows vary by carrier. File as soon as possible. The more time between the storm and the claim, the more scrutiny the adjuster applies.

What if trees from my yard fell on my neighbor's house?

Your neighbor's carrier handles it (their property, their policy). Your carrier handles damage to your own property. We can inspect both and coordinate with both insurance companies.

Is tarping covered by insurance?

Yes, emergency tarping to prevent further damage is typically reimbursed under the same claim. We tarp first and document the damage so the cost is included in your approved claim scope.

How do I prove the wind event actually caused the damage?

We pull NOAA wind data for your zip code and the storm date, photograph the damage pattern (wind damage looks different from age-related wear), and document soft metals like bent gutters that corroborate the wind event. Adjusters approve well-documented wind claims routinely.

Call (443) 826-3739. Or Book Your Wind Inspection.

Free. Within 48 hours. Same-day tarping for active storm leaks when conditions allow.

Why Waiting Costs More

The Longer You Wait, the More This Costs You.

  • 12-Month Filing Window

Insurance carriers typically give you 12 months to file a storm claim. After that, your damage is reclassified as 'wear and tear' and they pay zero.

  • Damage Compounds

Unrepaired hail damage compounds. A small claim today can turn into a full replacement next year once rot and decking damage set in. Insurance will not cover the follow-on damage, so the cost lands entirely on you.

  • Non-Renewal Risk

Insurers can non-renew your policy if your roof age and condition flags during their next inspection cycle. We've seen it happen across MD and FL.

Our Process

How It Works, Start to Finish.

The same 4-step process across every job. We document the damage, you file with your carrier, we install once the scope is approved.

  1. Step 01

    Inspection

We send our team out to inspect your roof, siding, and gutters for storm related damages. Free inspection. No obligation. Documentation an adjuster will accept.

  2. Step 02

    File a Claim

Immediately following a successful inspection, our project manager will assist you in calling the claim into your insurance company.

  3. Step 03

    Meet With Adjuster

Your carrier sends an adjuster to verify the damage. Our project manager is on-site as the contractor of record to answer roofing-technical questions about the damage we already documented.

  4. Step 04

    Complete Installation

Once the adjuster writes up the work order, we'll get right to it installing your new roof, siding, and gutters!
